Wildfires prevention

Statistics

Climate change and land-use change are projected to make wildfires more frequent and intense, with a global increase of extreme fires of up to 14 percent by 2030, 30 percent by the end of 2050, and 50 percent by the end of the century, according to a new report by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and GRID-Arendal.

Humans are responsible for around 75% of all wildfires. That means the solutions are also in our hands.

Project Opportunity

Our project's forest management yields an impressive 82% reduction in wildfire risk. By utilizing small wood fuel as our plant's raw material, we not only profit but also mitigate fire hazards. Additionally, we strategically establish firebreaks in managed forests, curbing wildfire expansion and allow access for rapid fire control. Effective forest management is the optimal approach to reducing wildfire occurrence and severity.

It's a great way to help the planet.

“The fight against wildfires begins with a holistic approach to land management and climate change.”
